ROSS GODDARD SIGNATURE classic JOURNEY – 15 days

China, Laos, Cambodia & Vietnam - departs 24 October 2026

$13,699pp double/twin | single supplement $1900

This unique 15-day journey highlights the very best of Southeast Asia. I have crafted this itinerary with a sprinkling of the new and some old favourites combining to create a unique holiday from China to Laos by rail, a flight to Cambodia, then by riverboat to Vietnam. Our travels commence in Kunming, the capital of China’s most southern province. We travel by fast rail through majestic countryside to the border regions with Myanmar and Laos. The splendid botanical gardens of Xishuangbanna showcase plant species that have spread across the world to become common features in our parks and homes.

Across the border we continue by rail to the spiritual capital of Laos, Luang Prabang, always charming and serene. Our rail journey on the new China/Lao railway concludes in Vientiane by the banks of the Mekong River. The capital city of Cambodia is Phnom Penh, once a popular destination during the 1960s before falling silent through the war years under the Khmer Rouge. Peace finally came in 1992 and since then the city has prospered. We board the well-appointed Pandaw riverboat on the Mekong River, one of the world’s great waterways, and cruise for four days into Vietnam’s food bowl, and finally our destination, Saigon.

This fully inclusive luxury journey travels at a comfortable pace with extended stays and no strenuous activity. Suitable for all ages and fitness levels.
